Main St. First Floor) has limited access to the public. The canvass of votes in state, county, local, and school district elections is under the jurisdiction of the County Clerk. At least one applicant needs to be a Macomb County resident with proof of residency (current driver's license or State ID). The Election Department is responsible for overseeing the printing and distribution of election ballots and conducting national, state, and county elections.
